Just bought a house in Lynbrook? Rekey every door
Many Lynbrook houses are decades old, and keys have a way of piling up: previous owners, relatives, contractors, dog walkers and the sale itself. You can't know who still has one. Rekeying changes the inside of each lock so every old key stops working, without replacing hardware that works fine.
Alex goes door by door, so nothing gets missed:
- Front door deadbolt and handleset or knob
- Side, back and basement doors, the ones people forget
- The side door of a detached garage
- Older mortise locks: rekey the cylinder where possible, or replace the cylinder or hardware as needed
- Compatible locks keyed to one new key, with copies for everyone in the house
